Xfx r7800 ghost drivers for mac

When I installed the card and started the machine, it showed the boot screen and then went black. I purchased a Metal-capable Radeon 7850 graphics card in order to upgrade to macOS 10.14 (Mojave).

I have a Mac Pro 5,1 running macOS 10.13.6 (High Sierra).
